Give it Up - Let it Go

Hello Everyone!
I'm on the Unity Stamp Company Blog today
sharing a card I created using the current Layers of Life kit.
These kits always touch my heart...sentimental I guess.
This month's kit is titled :
I used an A2 size card, added distress inks to the edges
and then gently tore around the entire card using a distress tool.
Scissors work just as well if you don't happen to have a tool on hand.
To get a deeper/contrasting color on the sentiment area
I shaded in with Copic markers and blended it all together.
Finishing up by adding some chipboard birdies
that I colored black and finally adding the random
arrows from the  Design your Week kit.
Those were stamped with Vintage Photo distress ink by Tim Holtz.
Thanks for joining me today.
Have a beautiful weekend!

Unity Stamp Company Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome
 to the first
Unity Stamp Company Blog Hop
of 2018!

Showing Up Gnome is the name of the kit that I'm featuring today.
I honestly squeaked when I saw this kit.  So stinkin' cute.

For my card I chose to use Prisma Color Pencils.
Once I colored my image I went over it to accent some areas.
For those areas I used a similar color Copic Marker and then added some
white Gel Pen to give the image even more texture.

Inspiration Wednesday with Unity Stamp Company

Hey Everyone!  I'm over on the Unity Stamp Company blog today
with the Inspiration Wednesday post. With Christmas fast approaching I've been working on getting my holiday greetings completed.
I'm a huge fan of vintage and Tierra's sled really took me back.
I remember having a sled like this when I was a girl.
I found this awesome color palatte on Pinterest (winter color palate)  which really helped me keep that old school vibe.
This gorgeous Kit is called Memories Made.

For the background I used the snowflakes from the sentiment kit Poinsettia with Love
Thank you so much for visiting today.  I hope you are feeling inspired.  Don't forget to share your creations with us on the Unity Show and Tell Facebook group page.
